Cupping & Scraping (Gua Sha)

An advanced myofascial decompression therapy used to break up stubborn stagnation and accelerate healing.

  • Cupping (Manual or Fire): Uses suction to gently lift and pull tissue upward, drawing fresh, oxygenated blood to tight muscles and releasing restricted fascia.

  • Scraping (Gua Sha): A traditional technique using a smooth-edged tool to gently stroke the skin, releasing micro-toxins, smoothing out scar tissue, and rapidly decreasing inflammation in restricted areas.

Cupping and Gua Sha therapy work together to improve circulation, release deep muscle tension, and encourage the body’s natural healing process. These traditional therapies help reduce pain, relieve stagnation, support lymphatic drainage, and promote relaxation throughout the body. Often incorporated into massage sessions, cupping and scraping techniques can also help improve mobility, decrease inflammation, and restore balance for overall wellness and recovery.
